Peloton subscribers compete and share progress in classes taught by elite instructors and broadcast twelve times daily from Peloton’s NYC studio.

At Lightning AI, our goal is to help you grow your business. And Peloton was looking to do exactly that. Peloton had already been running Facebook ads for years. They had a marketing strategy and were using both broad targeting and lookalikes to achieve their goals. But they wanted to grow faster.

Lightning AI’s algorithms identified user groups with a high likelihood of purchasing a Peloton bike. Within two weeks, more than 500 different interest and behavioral targeting groups were tested on Facebook. Within 2 months, more than 1,000 combinations were tested.

Lightning AI managed 20% of ad spend on Facebook prospecting campaigns for new bike sales and drove 26% of total purchases from prospecting. This means that not only were we creating scale, the new audiences we found were actually more effective than using broad audiences and lookalikes on Facebook.
